Laser Hair
Safe Effective Efficient Removal
Laser hair removal can reduce hair growth by up to 90%
Photothermolysis, in which short pulses of light and heat energy are used to damage or destroy hair follicles and prevent regrowth, is how laser hair removal works.
The melanin in the hair absorbs light energy that is released by the laser. Photothermolysis is the process by which this affects the hair roots beneath the skin at specific points in their growth cycles, causing damage to the bulb and preventing regrowth. We recommend at least eight sessions spaced out over four to six weeks to ensure that all follicles are targeted at the appropriate time.

Alexandrite
The Alexandrite laser delivers a light wavelength proven most effective for fair skin types, specifically, types I and II on the Fitzpatrick scale.
This wavelength is considered the best for removing fine, vellus hair. The Alexandrite laser can penetrate as deep as hair can grow, up to 5mm..
810nm Diode
The 810nm Diode laser hair removal system is preferred for skin types III and IV; however, it remains effective for skin types I and II. Compared to the Alexandrite, the 810nm Diode delivers a longer wavelength of light capable of penetrating the patient’s hair follicle while causing less epidermal injury.
This is a safer treatment option for patients with darker skin.
Long Pulsed YAG
The Long-Pulsed YAG can treat a wide range of skin types, I through VI, but is most effective on V and VI types. This laser is optimal for removing unwanted body hair on people with darker skin tones, as lasers with shorter wavelengths cannot always provide safe treatment.
The Long-Pulsed YAG light wavelength offers outstanding hair removal results without unnecessary skin damage.
